How do i erase pictures on a fugifilm a700?

is it a full restore? or a factory restore if so, live the card in the camera and do it then.

Certain A700 has a "known error" which displays low
batteri warning when using playback mode.
The camera shuts off even if batteries are fresh.
A firmware update will fix that. This is however not a do-it-yourselves update, but needs to be done in the service center. It's FOC in most regions, but you should contact you local distributor to check this.

The pictures were stored on the camera and not the memory card.
Issue resolved.

Try updating the software to upload your pictures, or get a sd flash card reader.

Pop the card in the camera, then use the camera's menu to format the card, if it formats you should be good to go.

Yes, you need to format the card. It should be an option on one of the camera menu listings. Sometimes it can be buried. Go to Major Geeks.com and look through their free program for one to recover deleted pictures. I recovered some of mine.

I have the same camera with the same problem.I tried the new batteries.Didn't work.I tried holding down the battery back.Didn't work.Took out the memory card and pushed the on button and it said memory card was full,but the memory card wasnt in it.So try taking out the memory card and see if it tells you the problem.I erased some pictures and it worked.

Have you installed the finepix software that should have come with the camera? I believe it is also available online at their website.
