Telstra V580a cordless phone not working.

The display screen just shows a message ''Connecting''. I cannot make outgoing calls but am able to receive incoming calls. Please help.

Try disconnecting all power to the base stations and the batteries in the handsets for a few minutes.After reconnecting power it may take a few minutes for the units to reconnect.

Answering System
Your phone is set in "Announce" mode where it only plays an outgoing message and does not record any incoming messages. You want to switch to "Answer" mode.

Semi Dead Panasonic KX-TGA100N with ''C533'' displayed.
