My ps3 Friends list has gone

Ok try this, Just update All you need to do is change your comment status.

delete what you have on your comment bar and restart your computer and it should be back sounds crazy but it does work.

it has happened to me that just like that my friends disapear and when i add them again is like if it was a new friend so what  u have to do is to add them again

Try making an alternate user on the system itself and log into PSN. It might be that when you turned the system off the hard drive was in the process of writing and there's a possiblity that the user data was corrupted.

i Dnt no a Solution But Have u Reset ur Hardrive if u ant back up the data b4 u do ok i myte give this ago cuz its been happenin wid me for 2 days now it all started wen i turned off my ps3 while i was on Playstation at home

Ohh u Mean Like People u Met nd wanna add if u go to Players Met on Ps3 u can Add People The Same Way But Xbox is Better thats why u pay 4 ther online

i Want To Now 2 Mate i have Restored defaults now im gunna buy a New Hard-drive if that dnt work i myte buy a Xbox :P

Try to remove the comment on your profile

First go to settings and have the PS3 update the system's date and time via internet. If that fails, try rebuilding your database (It's helped many people in the past).

This is how to rebuild your database:

1. Turn off your PS3.
2. Press and Hold the power button down; the system will turn on and turn off once again. Once the system is off then take your finger off the button.
3. Press and Hold the power button down again until you hear 2 consecutive beeps.
4. When you hear the 2 beeps take finger off power button.
5. You will be prompted to plug in your controller via USB and then hit the PS button.
6. The Recovery menu will pop up.
7. Select the Rebuild System Database option.

The Recovery Menu supports the following options:

• Restart System: Restarts the PS3 System.
• Restore Default Settings: Reset all system settings back to default.
• Restore File System: Checks for corrupt/missing system files.
• Rebuild Database: Rebuilds the Operating System for the PS3 (doesn't delete anything).
• Restore PS3 System: Fresh restore; Deletes everything and starts from Scratch.
• System Update: Updates the PS3 firmware to current version.
