It may be that the temperature of the unit is not yet up to temp. The flashing light will indicate this.Warning the user the unit is not ready,or up to safe temp.. Let the unit run to catch up,since you just started it.

Frost free fridge/freezer - not cold in fridge

The most common problem with refrigerators not cooling when the freezer cooling is the fan which supplies cold air to the freezer. Not easy to get to in most cases. Another problem is the vent to the fridge part is blocked or not operating with the adjustment control.

Servis fridge freezer

Hi ,
ngafm at your service,
If its cold and frozen it may be that the door switch that activates this light in the case that the door is ajar, is faulty.
Or it may be that the temperature is dropping to slowly for you to see it by eye!
The whole purpose of the, "door ajar" light is to protect you food from spoilage and to warn you before it gets to warm!
Door ajar or not!!!
My advice is to fix the problem now no matter if it is only the switch causing a false alarm.
Or the worst case scenario !

You need hands on service!
Bless You ,
ngafm,
please give me a good rating before you sign off.
Thank you.
