The output signal maybe set to S-video and the input connector does not have S-video capability. Change the output signal or use a HDMI cable. If the connection is via progressive cable (three leads), the colors maybe mismatched.

what kind of universal remote do you have???? it can vary sometimes from remote to remote

also, do you have the model of the sanyo system??? some models they make are made by other companies so you would have to use their code.

remote control now purchase in the market. give the model to salesman compare the model if it same. If no available try the universal remote control.

Progressive scan video output would be available on Component Video terminals of dvd player so set connections between TV and dvd player via Component Video cable.
Please intimate model and brand of product that you need instruction manual.

Not all dvd players are capable of this often very simple modification (usually just involves the remote control and a combination of keys)

Sanyo DS27930 does not support progressive scan
DVD player must be set to interlaced scan

the dvd is having a problem with the lens clean it ,if that does not work take it to a tech to adjust the lens or replace them there is also a flat strip that leads from the lens body to the circuit board this should be change.good luck.
