Install printer canon s520

Please check the seating of black ink cartridge. It may not have been placed correctly. Please replace it and then carry out the print head alignment.

try powering it down for a couple of hours for a full reset.

Select your operating system first, then install the driver for your printer. After installing the driver, download and install whichever software you would like.

Here is a link to the driver download page for your Cannon S520 Bubblejet. You have to select wich operating system you have and it will pull up the correct driver.

Connect the printer, if your system is XP it should find it and install it from its own resources
If That does not happen, go to Start/Printers and Faxes./Add a printer
Click on this- Click on 'Select from list. Select Canon, scroll down to your model or if it is a new machine to a model in that series
click OK

try another newer printer,,these things do NOT last forever, you know.

Hit drivers tab on this page: http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=231&modelid=6611 -then hit "drivers and software" link (YOU MUST ALLOW POPUPS!) -If a yellow box appears in popup hit "Driver/software" tab in popup -fill in circle of driver for your OS -Scroll down on new page and hit "I Agree - Begin Download" -Then scroll down down and you will see a link to your file.
