My dvd drive keeps saying that my region settings have been changed more than 5 times now i cant watch nothing at all. please help
Hi Tyshar
I need to know some background information before I can give some suggestions.
1. Do you have DVD's that are from out of country?
2. What is the software that you are using to watch the mvies with?
3. What is the model of DVD drive you have in the computer?
Let me know and I'll be glad to try and assist you. :-)

Normally the system will prompt you to authorize the changing of regions if you are watching a DVD that isn't in the region that the DVD player is originally assigned. If you havn't received this prompt or don't even watch Non Region1 DVD's then unfortunately you will have to contact the notebook maker for further info. The error is coming from a firmware chip on the DVD drive and not actually from Windows. I'm sorry to say but I don't have any other steps at this time to that will assist you. I'm hopiing that the notebook maker will have a utility to reprogram the DVD rom and reset the counter. There are no settings in windows at this time that can be adjusted to fix this. Sorry I couldn't help further.
