Re: message says player error - music is not available?
Your VX8300 can only play .wma files .. so if there's any .mp3 on there it's going to say that. Also, if you recently put on new files try taking them off then trying the card again .. .if that works then one of your new files are corrupt/unreadable
Another thing to try: goto: Get it now .. music n tones....my music ...songs ...options...reinitialize library database. ( Be warned, you may lose some files this way so make sure everything is backed up on your PC)

Hello, For the error 9001 ,i have a solution buddy..Try to format the device (from the General Settings) and the error message
doesn't come up anymore...But The fact is you will lose all you data stored in it..hope this helps you..
Also i will try to find a solution for code 0001 too..Thank you!!
In your Windows media Player go into tools and select options. Select rip music and untick copy protect music. The music you have in WMP wont work. you will have to put them in again after you made the changes. Hope this helps
I started to have the same problem today and was also getting a "Library Error Encountered...." message. I was able to resolve it by Formatting my player. I lost all my data and settings but now I can put music on it again. To format your player go to the Home menu-Settings-Common Settings-Format
I hade just that prob. "format error" used to display. I did this:
1. dwl sonicStage (free)
2.- in the walkman went to menu/initialize/format
then displayed a confirmation screen, I confirmed
it displayed "formating...... COMPLETE"
3.- THEN plugged into the PC and transfered songs with Sonic
and it worked!
