In those sets there is what they call color wheel and it could be on its way out it sounds like its stuck.or not working prop in any case you need to bring it in for service place
You need a simple color adjustment. (Color Calibration)
You don't need to spend money on this. Try it for yourself.
Your main problem is that your color temperature is set to warm. You need to change temperature to COOL or 6500K depending, on how it is labeled.
You will see improvement, but there is a little more... Move "Color" DOWN from it's current position (probably at 50) to somewhere between 30 and 40. (Just a couple of clicks above where the color rapidly washes out.)
At this point there will still be slightly unnatural color to skin tones, but all the artificial "sunburn" and blaring red will be gone.
Last (as far as color goes) move the tint 2 to 4 clicks toward green. This added green tint balances the color so that the flesh tones become completely accurate and realistic.
For even better detail, continue your home calibration here:
It could be the tint settings on your TV. Check your TV's settings menu for color/tint options. If you can't find it, break out the manual and look in the index for tint or color, then locate the page and it'll tell you how to get there.
Make sure the tint slider is in the middle, 0 or 50%, depending on your TV.
Best of luck.

The only time I have had issues like this was because of the Component Cables not being in the right position (the Red and Blue connections switched), or a bad Component Cable where the Blue Connection is not receiving a signal. Swap out the cable to be sure and double check that it is properly installed. Green to Green, Red to Red , Blue to Blue.
Hope this helps,
skyassoc
if you have hd cable or satellite box make sure the component cables are properly connected(green red and blue) and matching same color in source (cable box or satellite and tv as well)
also make sure in tv menu that color and tint are 50%
