Tv shuts off but power light continues to flash

My TV automatically shut itself off. I thought the kids had done it with the remote. I turned it back on, it turned on then blacked out on the screen and it appeared that the power button was trying to communicate with something. Is there a fuse or something that could have blown?

Unit is telling you something is wrong with circuit. LED pilot flashes when malfunction is detected. Power supply shuts unit down to prevent further damage and/or fire. Leave off and seek pro/tech check out

Tv shuts itself off randomly (sleep mode problem)

This is wierd the kids played with your remote and you cannot get it out of sleep mode. Well here is somthing to try. You would take back cover off but here is the disclaimer (HIGH VOLTAGE INSIDE CAN CAUSE INJURY INCLUDEING DEATH) iF YOU NOT QUALIFIED OTAKE IT TO A TECH IF ITS SOMETHING MNOR IT WILL BE DONE WHILE YOU WAIT AND WILL NOT CHARGE YOU OUT THE YANG FOR A FEE. But if you inclined chekc the power supply unit and see if it is giving the correct current to the TV if not replace it.
