I own a Jura Capresso S8 espresso machine which has been wonderful except for the pump that makes the froth. I sent it back to be repaired once already, at the tune of $250.00. Now it seems to have gone again, and this time it will cost me $275.00 to have it repaired. Anything I can do myself?

Try cleaning the sieve inside the brew unit, it seems that this is clogged. If the water and steam function works normal, then it must be the sieve that`s dirty and clogged. After cleaning this, please run a cleaning program

how do you get at the sieve to clean it.

How do you clean the Bunn 10 cup classic comercial coffee maker it is a BX-B model?

To clean your brewer, with the machine still turned on, pour in 1 qt of white vinegar and let it sit in your brewer for 2 hours. At the end of 2 hours, you will flush it out with 8-10 decanters of water.

I haven't had my keurig for a year. This morning I brewed 2 cups with no issue. I went to make my third and the lights flashed momentarily and then the screen went blank. Now I can't get it to even come...

Sorry to read about you issue.

try and unplug the unit and try again..if the unit starts again i suggest you follow the procedure below. if not the unit is defective....

The brewer should be de-scaled at least every 3-6 months. Scale is harmless, but if left unattended, it can hinder optimal brewer performance. De-scaling your brewer regularly helps maintain the heating element, removable water reservoir and other parts of the brewer that come in contact with water. Better water quality and water heating means a better cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage. We recommend de-scaling your brewer at least every 6 months (every 3 months if your water has a high mineral content). The de-scaling process involves using 48 ounces of undiluted white vinegar.

Take 48 oz of white vinegar. place in tank. pretend you are making coffee (Do No Use K Cup). let the water fill you mug. then empty that mug. Do it again until tank is empty. then let sit for 4 hours.
Then fill with fresh water to the top. let that tank of water run thru. towards the end taste the water.
If you taste vinegar..use more clean water, until the taste is ok.

I tried to help you. Please help me and Vote/Rate this response. Thanks and good luck

My coffee pot is very slow and only 3/4 of pot fills

With the machine full of water and still turned on, pour in 1 qt of white vinegar into the top and place decanter on base and close the lid. You will let this sit in the machine for 2 hours. At the end of 2 hours, flush out the vinegar with 8-10 decanters of water.

How to heat a bone in spiral ham

You could heat it on low power in the microwave at about 50% power for about 10 minutes, let it sit for a few minutes, check the temp around the bone, and do it again for another 2 minutes at a time until it gets to whatever temp you prefer. If you do use the roaster, put a cup of water in the pan, cover the ham, and heat at about 300 for about 30 minutes. If you want a little variety, instead of water you could pour a cup of Coke or pineapple juice over the ham, then cover and heat as noted above.

How much liquid to add???

Try going to the Durabrand web site and search for your model of crock pot. There should be a manual that you can download. If there is not, try contacting their customer support.

How much chicken and vegetables did you put in? And what about the tomato sauce? If you used a can of tomato sauce, I don't think 1/2 cup of water would be enough. It would be too thick.
