My mouse F8E874 is not tracking correctly. I put new batteries in, but no change. I rebooted ( hard boot ) no change. When clicking the left mouse button pop up windows show up that only should appear when clicking the right mouse buttons ( MS Windows / IE ). Also, the roller for scrolling a page up and down does all of a sudden no longer work properly. The page starts to scroll, and then it just goes automatically back to the top. Any ideas ? Thanks !
Try to reinstall
Disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the MouseReceiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Sometimes the batteries are bad (even if new), sometimes they were put in incorrectly (wrong direction) or not seated completely. Maybe there is a tiny reset button on the bottom you need to push after changing the batteries.
A friend of mine brought me this problem with exactly the same problem. here is what I found. The small notch in usb device socket under the mouse was malfunctioning. If you press this notch you will find the mouse red light blink. If you further try pressing this notch at some point the mouse red light comes on constantly. Thats it, hold it there and try to connect first by pressing the usb device connect switch and then the mouse connect switch. The moment the connection is made the usb device stops blinking and the red light on the mouse starts blinking. Wow, it works now. Some one might just open the mouse and fix this microswtich for a permanent solution.
could be the mouse, could be the computer... Have you rebooted, changed the batteries? Click the reconnect on the bottom of the receiver, and then on the bottom of the mouse, repeating for the keyboard?
If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on
the bottom, then try this.
Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests,

Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the
