If i remember correctly it is the FM button, or spinning the volume knob, once you have found the AUX, the kenwoods are really wierd. sopmetimes you have to push and hold the volume knob in the toggle the settings. (like the demo mode)

How do you get to the aux feature

I have the answer for this problem...finally! This is by far the dumbest instruction manual ever. Here goes:
while in standby mode, push and hold down the menu button until the display changes. Once the menu is up, toggle thur (using the am/fm toggle) until you come to AUX OFF, now toggle it to AUX ON. Exit the menu. Plug in your ipod and push the SRC button until AUX is displayed and enjoy.

I can't use my ipod.. pressed SCR and only tuner and standby is displayed

Yes i had a very similar problem.

I have the MP-235. I could not edit my clock, my subwoofer settings werent active, and I could not switch to AUX.

If you have these problems, you have to hold down the menu button (bass boost) to enter the menu. then scroll around, turn AUX on, change the clock, etc etc.

You turn demo mode off the same way. Kinda silly how they have it all set up.

Hope that helps anyone in the future. i just wasted 3 hrs with this crap!

How to turn off this blasted DEMO mode on MP235

Once in standby you have to press and hold the button to get into the menu. Once in the menu, you use the joystick control on the right to navigate to "Demo" and toggle it to "off" (can't remember off the top of my head... you either have to press the joystick in and hold it to toggle or just move it up/down...). Once done, just press Source to exit.
