IR8500 giving E000830-0000 Error code

What does the Canon IR8500 error code E602-0001 means?

There's no code like that in my manual.It's220-001 means lamp inverter PCB faulty,or reader controller PCB faulty. There's also a E 225-000 error which mean scanning lamp(xenon tube) is faulty,or inverter or CCD

This error code relates to a problem between the scanner and the reader board the connector looks like and old printer connector (parallel) try unplugging and reseating this should resolve it.

you have to clear this error by doing the following press additional function(*) and 2,8 together) then press additional functions (*)again (you have to do this quickly to get into service mode then you press copier
then you press function
then you press clear
then you press ERR
then you press ok
then turn off the machine and then back on
this is a low toner level detection code
do you have a new toner in the machine?

What kind of trouble are you having? Are you getting any error/missing file error messages? What version of Adobe are you using and/or are you trying to update Adobe when you are getting these error messages?

E824 indicates an error in the primary charge fan.May be tough to access on an IR8500.Good luck
