According to your owner manual from Canon, it says...
Ink has run out.
Replace the ink cartridge and close the Scanning Unit (Printer Cover).
If printing is in progress and you want to continue printing, press the Stop/Reset button for at least 5 seconds with the ink cartridge installed. Then printing can continue under the ink out condition.
The function for detecting the remaining ink level will be disabled.
Replace the empty ink cartridge immediately after the printing. The resulting print quality is not satisfactory, if printing is continued under the ink out condition.
I think there is a problem with the print head.
Error code E6 has this meaning:
Not detecting the print head
Install the print head or replace it
according to this page.
So, I would take the print head out and put it in again. Maybe the reason is a loose connection.

GO into the BIOS setup routine and make sure that the "onboard video" if it has any ,is set to off.
Malke sure that ou have the monitor attached to the video card and not the :onboard: one. Did you install the softweare and driver for the video card?

Hi Chris, Error code 5c00 (flash in orange /green 4 times) indicates that purge unit has broken so that the printhead is locked down when initializing process performed. Sorry I have to say that no first aid for this problem unless you bring it to nearest service centre for part replacement. Hope this information helpful for you. Regards,
Reset ip2000 1. Turn off printer 2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button. 3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go. 4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go. 5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking. 6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times. 7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more. 8. Your printer should respond as normal.. Unplug printer for about an hour, should power back on after this period, if not remove panel from rear of machine and unpug the power supply from the PCB board. Reconnect and the machine will work again.
An 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel. The printer cannot copy, receive faxes, or print.
Press the On button to turn the printer off.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
Remove all the ink cartridges.
Wait two minutes.
Plug the power cord into the back of the printer.
Press the On button to turn the printer on.
Install the ink cartridges when prompted.
If the error code does not display, the issue is resolved.
If the 0xc18xxxxx or 0xc19xxxxx ink system error code displays on the front panel, service the printer.
