Re: bosh dish waher
Does it make the same noise when it's just filling or just when the motor starts? Usually just filling the dishwasher opens a valve and doesn't run the pump. If it makes noise during filling the valve may be getting hot and shorting, or may have a loose connection, or air may be in the water supply line causing the valve to bounce. If it takes a long time to fill the filter may be clogged.

If the machine has only 1 fill hose, I would connect it to the cold tap. If you connect to hot only, the machine goes through its cycle too fast and wont wash as good. The machine stays on a wash cycle until it heats up the water. If you connect to hot water, it will do a shorter wash because it doesn't have to heat the water up as much. The shorter wash time, decreases how good the wash result is.
it's obviously sounds like your pump has gone, but considering the age of the machine, it would probably be best to get a new machine, that way you would have a 5 year warranty with it aswell so it's win/win really!
sounds like you have broken glass in the wash pump you will have to remove pump from sump and clear also check the drain pump.good luck let me know how it goes

My dishes on the top rack are no longer getting clean. I don't think any water is going to the top. The dishes on the bottom get clean but have a soap residue on them.
Hello, sounds like a broken wash impeller or a stripped drive impeller (the piece that fits inside the impeller). These two parts are driven by the wash motor and propell the water through the spray arms. good luck
The washer may be attempting to run dry. Many times on these washers, a person may open the washer and then go to another load. The washer gets stuck with a dry pump until the timer tells water fill valve to open. Easy test. Start on regular cycle ,slowly advance the timer. it will click until you here the fill start and water will fill until.....
