Question about Gateway FPD1975W 19" LCD Monitor
When I try to play a pre-recored DVD I get a copy right protection error. It says its between the dvd decoder and the video card. All other DVD's play fine. I tried a different monitor and everything works ok Can someone help me?
I had the same problem long ago, restarting windows from the disc solved the problem.

A different monitor corrected the problem?
That is strange.
How are you trying to play the video? What program are you using?
Are you trying to copy it?
Have you tried updating drivers?
I would like to know the answers that you get for this. Never heard of this before. E-mail me when you get it corrected. This way I can help other people in the future with this problem.

Tips for a great answer:
Many DVD discs are encoded with copy protection. Because of this, you should only connect
your DVD player directly to your TV, not to a VCR. Connecting to a VCR results in a distorted picture
from copy-protected DVD discs.
