I have a VIvicam 3710 that I like, but it used to take 62 photos when "empty". now it will only take 37. I have checked the resolution, it is on low all the time, I did not drop or bang it. This happened right after I took 6 photos and none of them came out, just gray with a very thin strip of photo across the top.

The ViviCam 3710 does not record any sound. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on this camera.
I know this wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.
Your vivicam takes AA batteries, which are widely available. Use good quality ones, such as Duracell M3 or Energizer lithiums, as some cheap brands don't last very long.
If your AA batteries are rechargeable, they will say so on the side. Then you'll need an appropriate charger (Photo stores can supply, if required - just show them what you are trying to charge).
Sorry, but the ViviCam 3710 does not record any sound when in video mode. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

From the Windows desktop, double click on “My Computer”. Look for a new “removable disk” icon. This “removable disk” is actually the memory (or memory card) in your ViviCam7410.. Double click on the removable disk and locate the DCIM folder. 2 select "Start" and control panel. click cameras & scanners see there for your cameras if it is there then ok.
Switch on the camera. Select [PC] using the c / d buttons and press the SET button. Check the wire cord and memory card and USB port and try it with another port. Click "start "and then select control panel , click cameras and scanners look for your camera right click in the explorer window ,select properties and then select device manager if there is an yellow coloured ?mark opposite to cameras and scanners then you have to update your camera drivers
When you deleted the files you also deleted the formating on the disk. Use the camera menus and run the format command and you should be back to normal. //D
