Question about RCA RT2500 System

No power. Is it possible that our recent power outage fried the transformer when power came back on.

I have the same problem. Doing that would work, but now it doesn't. Checked all fuses, all good. What could it be?

This happened to mine after a power out. The red LED on the power button would glow, but it wouldn't turn on. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in repeatedly and it will eventually turn on.

Wii won't turn on after a power outage.

Hey, recently had a power outage and now your Wii won't turn on?

Well unless your Wii is completely fried from the storm then this should work (It has for me every time I have had an outage).

After you find out it's not getting power then just unplug the power cable from the wall and from the Wii. Normally I unplug it for about 12-24 hours then you go plug it back into the wall, plug it back into the Wii, look at the power button and if it is red/orange then it has been fixed and you should never have a problem with it again unless you keep it plugged in during a thunderstorm/power outage!

This has happened to me about 8 times and this method worked every single time!

Lost power due the storm' when power was restored micro. never came back on

Possible that during the power outage there was fault in the mains supply and with the oven being plugged on it is possible that the power supply or the main board is damaged.
Unless you are able the top cover it is difficult to confirm if this can be silly fault like a fuse blown which is on the mains circuit or a Step down transformer or the processor board.

Runs but will not heat. Power outages in area over last few weeks.

If the dryer was running during an outage, even with a very brief flash there usually is a power surge when it comes back on. If everything else seems to work okay it's possible that the heating elements got fried. You can check them with a voltmeter. Also check to seek if the dryer has overlaod protection. Most have a reset. One other thing that could happen, the breaker is defective. That you can check at the back of the dryer where the plug cable attaches to the dryer.

Had a power outage and when computer came back on says BOOTMGR

Sounds like the power surge possible fried your hard drive. If you have access to another hard drive, try loading Windows on it. That message only pops up when it's unable to boot from the drive it normally boots from.

My door chime (Honeywell) is not working anymore after a recent power outage. How do I get it to work?

The transformer may have been fried. test this with a line testing kit like you would use to trace a line in a car. If the power is not going threw the transformer then you can just replace it of by a new door bell. they are fairly in expensive.

Wont power up

Have you had any power outages recently? If the modem was not plugged into a surge protector then the modem is probably fried!

After a power outage yesterday, my 24" Pure Flat Tube Stereo TV (TTM-2420) is not receiving power. (the glowing light on front of TV is not on and the TV cannot be turned on) I don't know how long power...

Surge protectors are meant to trip whenever an outage occurs to prevent component damage. If possible remove back panel and check if any fuses were burned. If all looks normal then your component is most likely fried.

Pointer locks up on the desk top after a power outage

Tried a different mouse? Maybe the power outage fried it. pc2 mouse? If it the wirring is fried or the mother board for the mouse is fried then you could purchase a USB mouse if you have an available port.  Finally download the mouse driver and reload it first.   Any more questions please ask.
