Samsung plamsa NO PICTURE but has sound!!

Hi my veon tv is 50inch LED turning on green then off red but no picture it had sound but not any more so no picture or sound can't find reset either and is 2 years old please help.thank you

if your Tv have sounds but no picture,,try to replace the y sustain board.

hi can i just add? I have recently got this tv but for some reason when i set setting to Normal they reset to dynamic?? After about twenty mins? I keep having to change back to normal or if i set it to perfect brightness etc... it just goes back to dynamic again? i.e cell light 100% and contrast up to 100%!

Plasma tvs are tricky for picture. They use two boards to burn the plamsa gas instead of one (LCD)...This almost doubles the price for any replacement boards, unless you know componenet level repair.


Overall, if you can find someone that will work cheap and knows what they are doing...then yes it isn't the most intence repair...but if NOT...then it's probalby too expensive to buy the replacement baords.

Hi,

Line failures are comon on all plamsa and LCD screens.
Best way to test is connect via HDMI or PC into the TV if it still has the line it is 80% the screen.

you need to have RCA cables to get sound. I use my labtop the same way. VGA cable is only for the picture RCA cables are for sounds. you can by them anywhere.
