you need to consult a technician for your problem, or you may opt to set the settings, or you may turned off the printer and turn it on again.

i replaced the black ink and now everytime i go to print it comes up that the some printer parts inside are near the end of there service life and needs serviced.
i only bought this a few months ago as a refurbished printer payed £60.00
please someone tell me it can be fixed .
My Epson R220 was accidently knocked against my book case and now the paper and the ink lights flash continually. I have tried switching off and on, re booting the computer and reinstalling the printer software without luck …. Any ideas?
I had a paper jam, and removed the sheet gently. I tried to send the print again, but the paper would not feed; I pressed the paper feed button. The ink head crossed along and back and then jammed on the right side, with a lot of jarring noise. I have tried disconnecting the printer and checking all the parts I can get at without taking it apart; but with the same result. Any ideas that don't cost a lot?
INK AND PAPER RED LIGHT IS FLASHING WONT LET ME PRINT
Both red lights are flashing and I get a message saying that the printer parts are at the end of their life.
same
For some time now, every time I printed a document, I got a message saying "parts inside the printer are nearing their expected life expectancy, etc.
I downloaded the SSC Service Utility and followed the instructions for resetting the ink overflow. Nothing seemed to work as the two flashing red led's still flashed.
Then, I unplugged everything, power & usb cable & plugged it all back in.
Now, the two flashing led's are not flashing, but one led, the one to the left is on solid. It looks like there is an ink drop symbol on the lid. The green ready light is on, which it wasn't before.
There was nothing about the one solid red led that I could find. Also, there is nothing about where & how to clean the waste ink pads.
I use a bulk ink system on this printer.
When I tried to print something, a message came up and said the printer did not recognize any of the ink cartridges. Now what do I do? This is getting very frustrating.
One last thing. One of the links takes me to an ebay site to where overflow ink tanks are available for sale. Is this a great advantage of the overflow pads? Do I really need this? Can the pads be reliably cleaned?
Any help you can provide is much appreciated.
Thanks
Rick
