Question about Kodak EasyShare Photo Printer 500
Can't get paper tray into printer. keeps telling me to load paper but there isn't another way to get the tray into the 500 kodak printer
Printer keeps saying clear paper jam but there is no paper in printer. The power button and exclamation mark are blinking. I tried unplugging and pressing the # and the 9 when plugging back in. NOTHING. HELP!!!!!!!!

I just sussed this issue out. On the front of the printer tray there is another pull out tray, this opens up and must activate the photo printing for A4 because it stops the paper falling on the floor once printed (cos once printed on photo paper it may still be wet). As soon as I opened the tray (and it then opens again - you'll see what I mean) it printed A4 photo paper perfectly
Hope this helps others

This model appears to have several trays for print media see the manual. Check the default print settings by right-clicking on the printer icon in the Printers and Faxes folder and see that the default is set to what you print most. Also verify all trays are inserted properly and that you have plain paper in the paper tray.

take out the photo tray if you can and put it back into its place /
turn off the printer and turn it back on . if it works fine if it does not ,the sensor is bad .
it gives you this message only if the paper try is not inserted properly or it is a false error message .
