Question about GPX MW3837 MP3 Player

It wont stay on and windows media wont detect it!

I just now bought the MW3837 from walgreens, and i have it plugged in to this computer. I cant tell if its charging, it wont stay on, and windows media isnt recognizing it! I dont know if its the battery is too low or what. Any help?

    I have done what the inst. said, but no anything. inst. wizard does not do what it supposed to in the directions. cannot get it to do anything but charge the thing

Hello gpx mp3 player delete songs off of it

On windows XP pull up windows explorer go to my computer and look for your mp3, towards to bottom of the list. click on the + next to the name, then click audio,music and the album name for the song you want, right click on the song, then delete.I just tried it on mine and it worked. I haven't tried windows 2000 yet. Hope this works for you

Connect mp3 player to computer, open Windows Media Player, click on the icon of the mp3 player, and then go to the songs or music folder - find the song you want to delete, left-click the song, and hit "delete" on your keyboard

Downloading from CDs

Not sure what OS you have or what version Media Player you're using - If you have Windows XP and Media Player 10, you need to make sure you have the MW3837 set to "MTP" and not "USB".

Gpx mw3837-i dont have access to windows media player

my computer is also like that and the way i got songs to go onto mine was to have the player plugged into the usb but have it turned off then select the songs one by one and then right click and send to the player
