Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
I recently purchased a new razr v3 unlocked on ebay (supposedly w/warranty). the add claims that it works with cingular. the voice part does. but it has t-tones software for the browser. is there a way to remove t-tones so i can use my cingular browser? or is there a way to do settings to use browser?
When i have settings sent to me on my motorola v3 it says my settings are full and need deleting. How do i do this so i can save my new settings?? Thanks

Flyboy - Your phone was, indeed, unlocked, but they put the T-Mobile software on there and even though they use many of the same frequencies, the phone will have to be "flashed" with Cingular-system compatible software which will replace that. Having Cingular/AT&T send you the new browser settings *might* work, but I have noted that unlocked T-Mobile phones, more often than not, do NOT work on Cingular without the flashing. It's a complicated and potentially problematic process that I don't recommend using unless you are computer/cell-phone savvy. You can find more information here:

You can request the setting from cingular for your phone and them save them.once this is done go to browser settings and set cingular as the default

I have a Razr v3 unlocked phone how do i setup my browser
We have a new V3 we bought off ebay (again, supposedly Cingular compatible and unlocked). Every time you press the button to look at call history (missed, dialed, etc.), it turns off. We can't find the ringer ids and a few other things.
We have done a hard reset several times. Still no luck.
Any suggestions?
