Question about Ariston Technologies AWD120 13 lb. Washer / Dryer Combo
Hi,
hoping you can help. my machine stopped on its last wash and did not drain the water. when i try to select a wash the selector knob keeps turning. the only time the drum will spin is if i put it to dry- but this still doesn't drain the water. any advice??
Thanks for your tim

Plug off the wall first. The spin normally does not work when the outlet filter is clogged; be prepared for a flood of water. If the filter is clean you should then check your pipe coming out from under the tub. Last check your outlet pump, could be blocked with something. Refit carefully, you might need a nice pair of pliers to get the grip clip on and off the pipes.
You can also drain water from the tub thru the rear hose in the wall. Keep bucket handy. The outlet pipe into the wall stands at a particular height, refit exactly to this height, about 3 feet from ground. Do not push the pipe too much down the stand pipe.

Fixing the filter at the front bottom worked for me! It was clogged up with coins and junks. See this thread too.

I have an old Margherita washing machine year 2000, my problem I don't have user's manual. Can you please provide me or teach me how to operate the machine?
Thanks & regards

According to the instruction book - it appears the machine has been stopped mid cycle then re-started.
Switch machine off, turn control knob to a solid circle symbol (they are after every set cycle). Switch machine back on and lights will flash and program is reset. You can then select wash cycle as normal.

i have a maytag neptune top load washer. it will not finish draining the water. the error code is nd. i have already turned it off and tried to start a new wash cycle; i think i hear the water running, but then the machine just stops. in the manual it says to check for a plug in the stand pipe. how do i do this?
I have the same problem i have had the pump out and all pipes are clean and unblocked. put it all back together and put it on drain and nothing happens! just a click then a minute later the knob turns round and round.
Do you think i need a new pump? i would rather spend 25 quid on a new pump than 250 quid ona new machine!
