JVC 65 inch projection tv

Green lines across tv top and middle; also some words are duplicate; the lines do not disappear when the DVD is on.

Thats how my stared than got worse i call for service and got fix after 4 moths had the same problem and i called the same guy again at firs he told me that the convergence was bad and replaced them i think there are three pieces but than the second time he took the box inside the tv he checked all the circuits and the board and he found out the something else was getting real hot and was causing that the convergence to bad now he fixed hope i got no more problems

Sony model # KDP-57WS550 just got green lines bending from the top of screen to the center, shows something as doubles on tv, words on movies at bottom of screen are pink with duplicate green just below.

A convergence amplifier I.C. has burned-out.

also check the dvd player set up menue some times you have to choose wich outlet your using like the rgb cables, s cable etc...

Sony 65 inch screen tv

Yes the red tube is shorted. I will post a link to the site where I work as they have an entire AV48WP30 with a bad tuner they are selling parts off of including the Tubes. they also provide free info on how to switch out the tubes as a unit which is a fairly easy job. Heres the link.

65 in.JVC bad picture

You may have a convergence problem that means, there may be convergence ic's bad or related components.
If you know something about tv's, try checking things out.
You can get a repair manual from websites to download.
If you do not normally fix tv's the best thing is to call a tv repair technician.

1st guess is bad convergence ic-either IC804 or IC805. Both are part #STK392-110. May be bad connections in convergence circuit, or open resistor(s) As for too much green, not sure, shouldn't be because of convergenece circuit, possibly green CRT screen voltage needs adjustment.
