Try re-aligning the heads using the alignment software function

The driver is included in your OS. If doing a wired connection, just plug the data cable into the printer. Then follow the on-screen commands (New Hardware Found Wizard). If that doesn't launch, click Start > Control Panel > Printer (under Hardware and Sound). Click Add A Printer to launch the wizard. (If you do not see this command, right click in the Printer Window and you should find it.) Select Use Existing Port, Next, Epson and Stylus C84 in manufacturer and model, Next. Then Set As Default printer if desired and Next. Then you can print a test page and Finish. (If you are using a print server or other type of networked printer, use the Add a Printer Wizard from the Printer window but choose Network.)

Epson Requires Original Epson Ink.
Colors will not come out as they should, and then the words will print out only either top or bottom.

Did you remove the plastic from the bottom ofthe cartridge, if not do so and changing from vista to xp would change that probelm.

Note - epson Stylus cx 3100 is similar to cx 3200.

Can you print something with a different program such a Microsoft Word? If you can then the problem is with LWORKS if not then the problem is with the printer driver. Please respond so I can help more.
