Based on my previous experience with the Alpine Mobile Multimedia Station, 1 wire needs to see 12 volts ie. brake light wire, the other needs to see ground ie. parking brake.

You can hook up the wire that needs 12 volts to either ignition or some other 12 volt source. The other wire needs to be connected to a toggle switch to ground. Then flip the switch as needed to simulate the parking brake and voila...

It depends on your car. When the parking brake is engaged, it completes a circuit. You need to find out ifthe wiring for your parking brake is +12 volts or ground.

you just need to hook up the foot brake wire (yellow and black) and hook up the parking brake wire (yellow and blue (looks green) ) set the parking brake then press and release the foot brake and your dvd picture will play
