this happens with all new vehicles it is a security feature so if someone steals the radio they cant use it the only way to get the code is to take it to a nisan dealer you will have to show proof you are the owner and they in most cases will charge a fee to unlock it have a wonderful day thank you
Jeff, Most dealers will give you the code, at no charge, if you take the car to them so that you can prove that the car belongs to you. Good Luck Chris
pull out the radio and write down the serial number call volvo and ask for a code, or you can look through your owners manuel for a radio card with the number on it, or flip through and see if someone scribbled it in the manuel somewhere please rate -jeff
