Re: LEXMARK PRINTER DOES NOT WORK JAMS PAPER
Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if
necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power
off.)
Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button. (On the X83, press the Select button.)
Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
Check to see if all the rollers are turning.
If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6. If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
Turn the printer off.
Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual
feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the
exit rollers.
Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to the
right side. If something is stuck under the black guide plate, this may
work it loose.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you.
Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.
First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.
If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there. And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it. Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing. That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it. It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow. So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well. Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

Paper jams can be tricky to solve. The paper is usually stuck inside the printer mechanism so even if there is no visible paper jam, you will still get the paper jam error. Try this:
1. Turn off your printer
2. Open all trays and remove any paper stuck there
3. Locate the button to open the printer, open it and remove any paper stuck there also.
4. Repeate the above step for all buttons that you can find to access the inside of the printer
5. Close all doors and put back all trays
6. Turn on your printer

There will be some form of error clear code that would need to be entered. It would be something like "holding down the print key and powering on the printer at the same time" The manual may tell you.
There are different combos for different manufacturers.
Don't know if it's the same problem i had but its maybe worth a try. Canon MP160
My paper went in a little, the wheels were turning but it didn't take the rest of the paper or print. Someone replied to my problem, i tried it and it fixed 1st time. Also seems to of worked for others
Solution:- Use a piece of thin card, a magazine cover is what i used, make sure its A4 size then try to print something, as the paper starts moving push it through! and hey presto it worked for me, everything printing fine now
I have a Lexmark and it says that there is "No Loaded Paper" some times and when you click ok it keeps saying it. If the power light is flashing on the printer - try this suggestion.
Suggestion:
Press the power button (Which will turn off printer.)
Wait till flashing stops and printer is completely off.
Press the same button which will turn on the printer.
The Printer should automatically go back to printing.
If it does not - Manually try printing by your self.
