Get the harness for your car. Any local stereo shop will have it. Also pick up the dash mounting kit. It will have the instructions to take your dash apart.
Do you still have the factory harness hanging out of the dash?? Do you just need to know what the wires are on the stereo??? If your factory harness is still there go buy you a factory install kit for your make and model of car. if you need to know what wires are what on your radio let me know
First you need to get a wire harness for the Chevy (check Ebay) then follow the wiring instruction inside the package on how to join the spliced wires togother. After joining the wires togother plug the harness in and stuck the JVC into the recess where the old stereo was and thats it, it should play if not you don`t have a good ground, ground the body to the frame.
if you go to your local audio store they should sell a kit to wire in your radio, so you dont have to cut any wire on your car it will just plug right in to the factory wiring
