My jogging stroller shakes

I'm trying to fix my double jogging stroller, when i jog with it it shakes, like the wheels are going to come off, but when i just walk with it, there's no shaking. I don't know if it's the bearings or what. Any advise would be great!

Hey! I just solved my problem of a shaking wheel! There is a red lever at the top of the front swivel wheel. I pushed it up. And now I can jog with it. So simple. I hope your solution is as easy to fix!

If your stroller is a phil & ted's, it'll have a locking pin behind the front wheel. This locks the front wheel for jogging (so that it can't swivel). For walking, you want the manouvrability of a swivelling front wheel, but for jogging it makes the whole thing shake.

Ours developed a shimmy at walking speed after picking it up from baggage claim at the airport (it was gate-checked, so we thought we were safe). I used to work in a bike shop, and since the wheels wouldn't fit on my truing stand, I made one. The wheels were taco'd enough to cause a problem (or so I thought!). After tuning both wheels the shake is diminished, but still present at higher (jogging) speed. It gets bad enough I'm affraid to put my kids in it for fear they'll bounce out. Does anyone know if the sleeve the axle fits into is removable/replaceable?

Mine does this same thing. I took the wheel apart to try to fix it, it turns out the bar that holds the wheel (whatever you call it) its tilted a bit. So when Im walking its fine but once I put a little pressure on it the wheel will shake.

As I have the same double pram, and had the same problem..but i found that if you switch the front nozzle at the front wheel to be in the non swivel wheel motion, the pram/wheels wont' rattle when running..try and see how you go.

If you flip the chair over, no child on board!!, and spin the wheels fast, to you see any vibration?
If you hold the wheel, like a steering wheel (10 and 2) and then twist, do you feel excess side ways movement?

Although i have one of these, i never thought of it being suitable for jogging due to its small front wheels.

Let us know.

Well, i'm not positive in this, seeing how I never had kids, but while jogging are you pushing down harder on the stroller? or you could look for smaller wheels to put it on, but then again you might have'ft to bend over to do it, and if the handle which you push is tall that has to do with force viberating the stroller

How do i fold the dreamer design double jogging stroller?

do you still need this? First un-velcro the bottom storage basket in the back, by the back wheels, take off all the wheels ( but its not necessary, but it does allow it to fold more compactly) Then undo the front thumb tabs where the front wheel is. (mine has 2) This should allow it to collapse forward. Last fold it in half, bringing the front wheel prongs to the handle bar. Sometimes the fabric gets caught a little, so just make sure its not catching at the place where it folds. Here is the owners manual too,,,

Stroller pulls to the left

It's a wheel alignment issue - I had the same issue & my husband fixed it. Try removing the front wheel & reattaching it. If that doesn't solve the problem, keep adjusting the front wheel slightly until the stroller no longer veers.

Shakes when going fast

Problem suggests that the stroller has sustained structural damage in the accident. If you use it with any additional weight than what is the recommended as per cataloge the stroller may give away causing injury. The damage is beyond repairs and hence it is not safe to use the equipment any more.

Wheel alignment

Just take it to your local bike shop. They should be able to fix it. The wheels/tires are basically small bicycle wheels/tires.
