Hello Everyone, I have a 2001 Piaggio Liberty 150cc M2201A and It needs it's Drive Belt and Clutch Replaced. Is this easy to do for the Typical Lad who is fairly handy with tools & repairs IF He got his hands on a Service Repair manual? (And where would I find a Service Repair Manual) OR If you feel it's beyond the Average Lads ability.... How much would this Type of Repair work cost to get fixed here in Sydney.PS. Below there was Not A Section for Motor Scooters OR for Piaggio so I've Picked the closed stable mate of Vespa & Piaggio that was listed - I hope that this Helps. Looking forward to your reply Regards Wayne
Hi Wayne, the drive belt shouldnt be to hard to replace, just remember the order of disasambly and install it the same way. And for the clutch assembly it would be recommended that you use a service manual, but if you have atleast a bit of experience and common sense and patience you should be able to do it with a manual, that is if you have the correct tools, clutches usualy require a special tool to be able to separate it from the main shaft, also pay attention to the torque specs and order... wish you luck, Alex
