Locked I have a samsung d407 phone thru cingular and the puk code is locked do you have any clue how to get it unlocked.

i install sim card, but phone does not work when turned on. if i replace sim card with sim card from another country phone works fine.

Battery won't hold a charge for even one day. Replaced with new battery and same problem. Any ideas?

Try calling cingular for the puk code
if you have entered a code more than 10 times with puk being requested then you have fried the sim and you will need to have your sim replaced

Puk code

PUK means the code for the SIM card has been entered incorrectly.

You need to contact Cingular / AT&T to get it from them. No one else will have it.
