Hi, My candy CIC60 tumble dryer has stopped drying and the empty water light is constantly on. The timer works. I have cleaned all filter, emptied water, checked for loose wires and I can not see a problem....

Tumble dryers are really not around my neck of the woods however I have studdied them just in case they do begin to show up around here. What turns on the light and kills power to the dryer when the water tank is full? A float switch. I bet that float switch is stuck. Probably something simple like that.

Zanussi tc7103w condenser dryer-water tank light keeps coming on when tank is empty or nearly empty-have found small plastic float and spring on floor behind dryer-where do they fit?

I had this problem. If you look at the valve on the plastic water tank, you will see that those parts are the same. They fit inside the tumble dryer to shut off the water from flowing onto the floor when the water tank is removed. The white hollow cylinders in the tumble dryer and the water tank push each other open. If you study the water valve on the tank you will see how it is put together. It is all held in place by a little 9mm O ring at the back of the valve. The ring gets tired after a while and pops off. The valve then falls apart and you find the cylinder and spring on the floor and the O ring still inside the dryer. I bought an O ring kit and reassembled the valve inside the dryer using a new ring. You will have to pull the dryer out, turn it upside down and remove the floor to do this

Water in fuel tank getting into engine how to remove water from tank and prevent it

Drain the tank,(and) or use fuel addatives meant to dry fuel.Make sure your fuel is stored in a clean fuel can, A full tank will condence less water from the atmosphere than one that is not full..

Where do I drain the tumble dry water on a hotpoint wd62 wash/dry

remove the top panel by unscrewing the 3 screws at the back of the washer dryer . remove the top and then remove the back metal panel. the screws are down the side and all around the back of the panel. once you have removed the panel check for the black rubber hose that connects to the drum. remove the clip holding the rubber hose by prising it with a small screwdriver. be careful as the water will flow out quite quickly. Check the hose pipe for any blockages and clear as required.

TUMBLE DRYER

Hi, It wont fill up when the full tank light is on because it thinks the tank is full. Remove the tank and feel down inside where the tank sits into the machine. You should feel the switch, it sounds like it is stuck down.

Zanussi Tumble Dryer

Sounds like the condense pump is bad. Replace it, or look if there is lint in it. ;)

Hotpoint washer dryer leaking water whilst drying

driers work by running cold water down the back plate of the machine so the hot damp air condence's on to it. It works on the same principle as your bathroom mirror, because its colder than the air around it the moistier in the air condence's on to it. Most machines use a seperate inlet valve from the cold water to do this, they are proned to rub against the back of the drum.Take the top cover off the machine and check the hose's from the cold inlet onto the back of the machine you'll probably find a hole worn in it.

Hotpoint Aquarius 1200 WD62 (Tumble drying issue).

no the steam from the dryer part comes out of outlet tube the same tube were the water comes out hotpoint washer/dryers use a condensing chamber which allows the steam to cool down a pass through it as water does and through the outlet pipe
