Remote control for Canon LV X6 Projector

I cannot seem to get the remote control to work for the projector. I'm trying to use a PowerPoint Presentation and the remote does not work if I click the Left or Right click buttons. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Hi guys

You need a usb cable that goes from your PC to the Projector in order for this function to work.

How do I forward the slides of a powerpoint presentation using the remote?

Make sure that you connect a cable (usually the USB cable is supplied with the projector ) from the computer to the projector. Once communication is established, normal PPT slide advancing is done by pressing the up/down arrow keys (depending on the remote control layout)

My x6 infocus does not react to the remote control

sometimes there is a switch near the battery or on the bottom of the remotes to disable it. otherwise some projectors have an option in the menu that you need to turn on to be able to use the remote, it should be under IR options

My projector is locked.how can open ...? please help me

If warning indicator is steady Orange, Key Lock is on. This should not affect the remote control.
When the cabinet buttons are disabled, press and hold the BACK button for ~10 seconds. They should be re-enabled all the buttons.

My dell d630 laptop wont recognize my infocus lp70+ remote control and I can't advance my powerpoint slides with the remote control

Here's what the User's Manual says:

Using the Remote Control

To advance PowerPoint slides with the projector's remote, you

must connect the USB cable on the projector's computer cable to

the computer. See page 8 for more information.

Point the remote control at the projection screen or at the front or

rear of the projector (not at the computer). The range for optimum

operation is about 30 feet. If you point the remote at the

projection screen, the distance to the screen and back to the projector

must be less than or equal to 30 feet. For best results, point

the remote directly at the projector.

If you are displaying presentations in Microsoft® PowerPoint®,

you can use the remote's Previous and Next buttons to navigate

through your presentation while in Slide Show mode.

How do I zoom and focus the LV 7350? It is ceiling mounted. I want to make the image smaller so that people in the audience can see the image over the heads of those in front.

There are zzom and focus buttons on the remote if you have it. If not, use a safe ladder and use the zoom/focus buttons on the projector itself.
