Question about Aiptek MPVR Digital Camera

1 Answer

Aiptek DV3300 do not turn on

I have a Aiptek DV3300 camera that using recheargeable batteries (1.25V) do not turn on. When I use normal batteries (1.5V) the device works well. What is the problem?

Maybe the rechargeable batteries aren't providing enough power. I'm assuming the batteries are recently, fully charged. Rechargeable batteries can lose their charge over time even if they're not being used.

My daughter has an Aiptek dzo v50 video camera but it will only operate for about 10 minutes, then the alkaline batteries are dead. This does not seem normal. Any ideas?

I have been researching this camera to decide whether to buy one and other people have said the same thing. The run time is very limited. New batteries will get you 10 - 15 minutes and that's it!
I don't think I'll be buying one....

Try taking the memory card out the turning it on and if it does just put the memory card back in and it should work.

Battery life

THere are no set number of shots but it should definitely be more than 10. the reason could be that the battery that you bought is not designed for digital cameras as digital cameras require a bit more power than normal gadgets. So you have 2 options. Go with recheargeable (Cheaper in the long run + you can take all the pictures you want) or you can buy disposable ones that are designed for digital cameras ( you can buy them from camera shops)

I hope this has answered your question sufficiently. If you have more questions please post a reply and i would be happy to assist. Thanks.

HELLLLLLLLLLLP

Hi
Uninstall the software. Make sure no software fragments are left, then reload the software. Ensure that you install to the manufacturer's instructions. I had this problem and it took several times of uninstall and reinstall, but! eventually it worked, much to my relief.
