Hi I have the same problem with my HP Photosmart C5280

All the light are flashing and the screens states that I should turn the printer off and on. When I hit the off switch it just doesn't stay off but immediately restarts and when I do this I very briefly see an error message "error 074a4dd6"

On my PC it continously tries to reinstall the printer and gives a fatal error. I have unplugged the printer completey and taken the power off but appears to have gone the way of the Dodo! I am going to completely deinstall the printer this weekend to at least be able to work on my PC. My Wireless connection has also deceased on my PC but it still works on my laptop. Unfortunately I can't fix that problem because of the printer installation error!

    Kind regards

    Fred

Hi,

Find this in the web

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=hk&docname=c00489814&dlc=en&lc=en&jumpid=reg_R1002_HKEN

Use the instructions below to resolve the issue by restarting the product.

  1. Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the back of the product, but leave the product turned on.
  2. Open the cover of the product and remove the print cartridges.
  3. Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display.
  4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product and wait for one minute.
  5. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button.
  6. Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges.
  7. Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page.
  8. Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer.

Have been getting this same message "Error 00C515C4 lights flash and can't print Photosmart C5280" ever since purchase. HATE, HATE this All-in-One. Nothing works but unplugging for a few minutes, then canceling print queue. Complained to HP mulitple times, even under warranty and no one will do anything about it!

SOURCE: printer trouble

Power cycle the printer. If problem remains, try a partial reset. You can do the partial reset as follows:
1. Unplug and replug the unit.
2. when lights flash on power up, hold down the ON/RESUME and PAGE SIZE buttons together.
3. When only the ON/RESUME button light flashes, you can release the buttons.
4. When the lights stop flashing, the reset is all done!

If problem remains, you are fully justified to ask HP to replace the unit for you (well, if you're still in warranty!). Good luck :)

My tomtom one 140 Touch screen is not working any more the touch screen is non responsive i have connected the tomtom to the computer and carnt connect to the computer because i carnt use touch screne and...

It may be something stuck between the screen and the edge of the screen. When this happens with a foreign object, the screen cant sense anything because the debris is holding it down. Clean around the edge with a q-tip and window cleaner and maybe a toothpick and try again.

My playstaion 3 says hardrive is corrupted and every time i turn my play staion 3 on it says the same message and i carnt play games or do anything how can i get it to work ?

Guest

If you are getting the corrupted hard drive message and the Playstation 3's repair does not repair the drive then you may need to format the drive with a computer. The link below will help you do this. Note if you still have trouble with the drive then you may need to replace the drive as it is having hardware problems.
