Are you using a dell-branded toner cartridge? if yes, then you should replace the toner cartridge sensor and machine control unit (MCU). if no, you can enable the non-dell toner mode on your printer's operator panel. how? press menu, down until "configure" & press select; down until "maintenance" & press select; down until "non-dell toner" & press select; down until "on" & press select.

Samsung CLP620 Printer says: Not Compatible Cyan Toner after storm June 5, 2014 at 6:00 am, we had a very heavy storm with lighting for several hours, it rained lightly earlier. We turned printer off at...

It depends of what is wrong. Perhaps the storm has nothing to do with having an empty cartridge. Perhaps lightening, induced a little current in the printer or in the chip on the toner cartridge.
You only can find out, by placing another toner cartridge in its place. And don't wonder if the error still is there. But then you have to call in an service engineer, because something serious can be wrong.

At least i hope you at least remover the cartridge once, to see if all contacts on the chip (and in the printer) are still clean and shiny.
Only clean contacts with a dry cloth or a cotton swab. Vever use anything sharp.

Lexmark c534dn unsupported cartrige

This error message appears on the printer screen when the printer thinks the wrong toner cartridge is installed. To clear it or identify a service requirement, follow the steps below. NOTE: If you succeed in resolving the problem at any stage during the procedure, you not need to perform the remaining steps.
  1. Open the top front cover of the printer. If the display DOES NOT read Close cover or Insert cartridge, the 32 error is not caused by the toner cartridge and printer service will be required to fix the problem.

  2. Make sure the correct toner cartridge is installed for this printer model.
    1. Check Lexmark for a list of compatible cartridges for your printer.
    2. If the wrong toner cartridge is installed, remove it and install the correct one.
  3. If the correct toner cartridge is installed, it may not be seated correctly. To ensure that this is not the cause of the error, do the following:
    1. Turn off the printer.
    2. Reseat the toner cartridge.
    3. Close the lid.
    4. Power the printer back on and check the display.
  4. If reseating the toner cartridge does not clear the error message and the error started as soon as you installed this particular toner cartridge, the cartridge may be broken. You can check this as follows:
    1. Power off the printer and then reinstall the old cartridge. (You can also try a different new cartridge to see if that clears the error.)
    2. If the error does disappear, the problem may lie with this cartridge. Please contact the point of purchase, especially if the cartridge is brand new out of the box.
  5. If the error cannot be cleared by putting in a new toner cartridge or one that is known to be working, the printer may require service to fix the problem.

Error message: cyan imaging unit is either missing or unseated

The problem is with the top cover assembly. It could be a few things. I would first try the toner sensor flags(the magnet may not be strong enough to read properly). Also replace the toner cartidge because it's magnet may also have gotten weak. Third, I would try the Toner sensor board.

I have had this problem with many printers and normally it is just the flags because of the weak magnets.

Install Cyan Toner Error

ensure that the one you install is the exact model name and number, if this is correct, try unistallling once again and check one more time,

you might want to get a new cyan toner if this still fails, i dont think there is a prob in your machine, cheers

Konica minolta error

I had the same problem and found that one of the toner cartridges must have not been seated properly. I removed the black toner cartridge and re-fitted it. The printer now works fine again with no errors. 17H is a code relating to a fault in the rotation ......... possibly one or more toner cartridges need checking. Use the menu on the printer to turn it to the appropriate position (i.e. engine menu then select replacement of whichever toner you are checking).
Hope this fixes your as well.

Toner problems

A couple of suggestions. 1. make sure there is not any plastic shipping tabs that need to be removed from the cartridge. 2. try reseating the cartridge. 3. Try replacing that cyan cartridge. It may be defective. Also make sure you use Minolta brand toners!
