I cant put files on my cruzer mini 2.0 gb flash drive

When I go to my old office computers and put files on my cruzer mini 2.0 or sandisk 512 ...I cant (once I get to my new computers at new office) put the files on the new computers.

I put the flash drive in at old office (xp computers) and let it load ...click on the files and they show up...but when I try to drag and place them when at the new office ther is no data .

If you old computer is formated differ then the new ones....its possible it wont read the files...for example: windows can be either formated to a Fat32 or NTFS.....they dont like to mix.

How do you use a sandisk cruzer micro usb 2.0 flash drive

insert your 2 gb cruzer into a usb port click start all programs accessories open windows explorer my computer you should see your drive click to open it from there you select the files right click on the file/s right click copy navigate back to the drive right click select paste or hold the mouse cursor the file/s drag them to scan disc then drop them

or if you are downloading from the internet once the program/files starts to download an option will open and ask where you want to save it or run it also browse click on the browse to save it to your 2 gb cruzer

I have no user guide for my sandisk cruzer micro 512 mb and want to restore some of its files to my pc. How do I do this?

If the files are still on the flash drive you can simply plug it into your computer and move the files off. if the files are no longer on the flash drive then you are out of luck because they are gone forever. I hope this helps and have a nice day!

You can copy your data,songs, video files on your flash drive to use it any time any where .You can do this by just following the simple steps :
1. Plug the USB flash drive to a USB port.
2. A USB flash drive icon will appear on the desktop

3. Double-click on your Cruzer USB flash drive.
4. Select the files or folders you want to copy to the USB drive by clicking on them.

5. Drag and drop the selected files or folders to the USB flash drive icon.
Note : Do not immediately remove your drive from the USB port,right click on drive icon in notification area then click on safely remove the drive ,then remove your drive from your computer.
2: You can take backup of your computer on your flash drive

you plug the SanDisk Cruzer Micro 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive into your computer open the file that says SadDisk and drag the files you want to download into the SanDisk file good luck!! :)

I have a Cruzer 2 GB flash drive and when ever i put files on it they wont appear on other computers or OP's (ie. ps3) i have the files i just really deaspratly need to move them... how do you get the...

I cannot move a Microsoft Word file to a SanDisk 2 GB Cruzer,getting the message that "Directory or File cannot be created"...Why? What's the solution?

There is a problem with these where putting files directly on the root folder of the drive only allows X amount of files. Open the Cruzer from My Computer and create a new folder. Try dropping the Word file into that new folder and all should be well.

USB Flash Drive 512

I think they are telling you to purchase a "thumb drive" with a capacity of at least 512mb. Go to Office Depot, Circuit City, etc. and purchase a 1 or 2 gb flash drive (little stick with a USB connection on the end of it). About $20.00 max.

I own a couple of "Kingston Data Travelers" if you need a brand name reference. But there are a lot of reliable units and cheap.
