Not recieving any satelites - Tomtom One XL GPS Receiver

IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE RECIEVER HAS A OPTICAL INPUT YOU WILL HAVE TO USE AV CABLE STERO RIGHT AND LEFT FROM TV TO RECIEVER THEN CONNECT BLUE RAY AND GAMING SYSTEMS WITH THE AV CABLES

Units are called Free To Air, but not worth the time. All you will recieve is junk channels or foriegn. There use to be premium channels, but no longer available. I threw my reciever in the trash last year.

Anybody trying sell you is a scam.

that code usually is either for the tpms reset, or a satelite transmission reciever number, it will either reset the tire pressure monitor system, or enable you to recieve satelite redio servive with a subscription. hope this helps

call your customer service of your satelite or check the reciever..

It sounds like you have no signal being detected by the TV. Check your connections to the TV from your cable box or satelite reciever to be sure they're plugged in tightly. If you have a DVD player or VCR, try watching something from one of them to see if you get a picture. If you do, then your problem may be with your cable box or satelite reciever, and not the TV.

try using the settings and get to satellite then select autosearch It is possible your BAUD and PORT are not set correctly

hook up the cable box to component # 1 or hdmi 1 and the satelite reciever to component # 2. i'm not sure if this model has 2 hdmi inputs,but you can also hook the satelite reciever to hdmi 2 if it does.

I assume Dream Satellite was charging you for the use of the receiver. At any rate you will need a valid SMART card that is activated by Dream. I assume that you did not cancel your subscription also. If this happened only after the new receiver was installed you could have a bad receiver but more than likely the SMART card is the issue. Contact Dream and see if they can send you an updated one.

This could be an unshielded cable problem. Also magnetisam from speaker(s)(i.e. subwoofer) could affect signal from satelite antenna, or could affect satelite receiver if it's near.
