Question about HP vs15 15"LCD Flat Panel Monitor
I have a HP vs 15 flat panel LCD for 1 year. This morning, the monitor couldn't wait up! I reboosted the system, turn the monitor power in, the power button stayed on for 2 seconds, then click and automatically off again. I tried to unplug the power cord and plugged in again, reboost the system and still no luck. The monitor screen stays black, no picture or sound at all. What's going on? I tried to plug it with other hard drive and same problem happened. I tried other monitor with the same harddrive, other monitor works. Does that mean this HP monitor is broken for good?
It's less costly to buy a new LCD monitor than having it fix.

Hi there, yes, you do have a broken monitor, bring it to qualified service personel how can repair the monitor. or you can just simply replace it. TY

SOURCE: black screen
The power supply in this monitor has probably failed, but since HP doesn't stock spare parts for their monitors you will probably need to replace the whole monitor. HP only does full unit replacements on their LCD monitor range.
HP also doesn't provide any electronic schematics so getting it repaired will be difficult.

I have exactly the same problem. Please, reply as soon as possible.
Thanks.
1 month after the warranty expired on my hp vs 15 my screen went blank. hooked it up to another computer and the same thing happens. hook another monitor up to mine and it works. can this be fixed?
The printer is plugged in and connected to the computer. Isn't responding to the "on" button being pressed, have to unplug and plug back in to make it switch on, then it automatically switches back off again.
