The fans themselves may need to be replaced or the thermal grease on the processor may need to be reapplied. What you are describing is caused by something getting to hot and then shutting the machine down to prevent damage.

Toshiba Satellite P30 (new) Battery (and old) not charging

Your charging circuitry, inside the PC may be faulty. OR maybe the Power Adapter, you need to try another adapter, if the problem does not go away, then you have an internal motherboard power supply problem it will have to be serviced. Or just maybe the second battery is faulty too, unlikely.

Toshiba P30 notebook

You may need to take the hard drive out and find a portable USB hard drive case to put it in ...if it is 3 years old it is probably an IDE drive ...newer ones are SATA drives....then hook it to another computer and and check it ...you can also reformat it in the portable case on another computer then put it back in the laptop and then reinstall windows......if it isn't recognized by the other computer then it probly wrecked the hard drive somehow..
Hope this helps

Vertical lines in my laptop screen

Hi,
what i recommend you to test is to press behind your monitor and see that the line goes off or not.If it does..that mean you have a loose connection,it can be fix.Incase no then you have problem with your LCD.Normally if its LCD problem then you fix this problem, all you have to do is change the LCD.
goodluck,takecare.

Code for Direct TV remote control

Program AV1 with 20695, program TV with 10765, then switch to AV1, press select/mute, enter 933, and press select

This will allow volume and mute controls while in DTV mode and allow power on and off while in TV mode. This worked for me on the RC32 remote control.

Best of luck
