Power light remain blinking

i have a problam with my dlink 2700ap its light could not stop blinking and i am unable to open its config page and i cant ping it so sir help me to solve this problam b coz i am running a smal busnes and every thing rely on it

I have the DWL-2100 AP; similar product. Same problem. I changed the wireless channel, at which point the device had to reboot. It never came back up. It kept going into a continuous, endless reboot cycle. No amount of hard resetting would fix it. This has been a fantastic and incredibly reliable device, so I am going to buy another one.

Hi, i noticed before when i pressed on the reset button of my dlink, the power started flashing, n when i stopped pressing the reset button it wont stop flashing anymore..did you happen to press the reset button or power button too long, sometimes it is dislocated so the power light wont stop flashing, just by pressing on it one more time should fixed it, though if it was previously configured it will go back to default settings...thats also the reason why you cant ping or go to the config page because its not relaying the info..i stongly suggest you contact dlink for this so that they could give you more info about it...because for power light its just that or its already defective...i hope this would help, pls feel free to ask if you have anymore questions

I have 3 Dlink access points DWL3200AP for which I need D/C adapters. (connectors) power surges have ruined the conenctors event hough the access points are working well. Ihave been to the DLINK webpage...

Cant access dlink 514 router admin page!! help !!

I would reset the unit to factory setting and start again.

I'm unable to get wireless even though I'm all hooked up with my provider via the modem and a dlink. The only difference regarding the hook up is there is no longer an ethernet cable going to my pc

check the router config settings, may be the router isisnt dialing ur net connection or if u have a static ip n stuff make sure ur default gateway and dns are proper

Main board troubleshooting with processor no displal..only power come and same moment offf.......only light blink for 1 sec.of power and hdd... whn main board open then remove processor power remain on...

Battery is first suspect.

Reset DWL 2700AP to factory defaults

Hi dear try to flow this tips it will help you
Administrator Settings
Administrator settings allow you to customize User Name and Passwords as an Administrator of DWL-2700AP. The default value of the Username is "admin" with no password entered.
Password
Enter a password in the Access Point Password field. Type the password again in the next field to confirm it. The Password is case-sensitive ("A" is a different character than "a",) and must be between 0 and 12 characters in length
System Settings
You may reset the DWL-2700AP back to factory settings by clicking on Restore Default settings.
Restore Default Settings
Choose Yes and click Apply to restore all Access Point settings to the factory default settings.

DWL 2700 AP wrong firmware install

hi...
since you upgraded a different firmware try updating the firmware again with the correct firmware if it works fine if it doesnot then the router had gone bad,,
and for GeminiBS reset the router to the factory default since the firmware was not done in a proper manner may be it had interruptions..once the hard reset is done the computer is restored back to the default so that you can use the device..

Yeah, not a good idea to have opened it if there is a warranty still in effect. Belkin, DLink, and Linksys are all made by the same corporation, Cisco, and generally a flashing power light indicates a fault condition. You may be better off getting a new one.
