The job that you are trying to print is too complex for the printer. Add more memory. Or simplify the job.

If the message is Scanner Error 6, then there is an error in the scanner subassembly.
Try powering printer off, wait about 30 seconds and power on. Make sure printer is not plugged into a 'surge protector'. You want it plugged directly into a wall outlet.
If error doesn't go away, the scanner assembly has to be replaced.

1. After you click on the link above, select the language for your printer driver from the drop down menu.

2. Select the version of Windows 7 you have. (either 32- bit or 64-bit)

3. Save the file to a new folder on your desktop. (It will be easy to locate after downloading it)

4. I would also download the Windows 7 Print Driver - Installation Instructions save it to the folder on your desktop and read it before you install the printer driver.
