Signal error on Tivoli DAB clock radio

Hi

When I play the radio I can't get any information on the LCD other than 'Signal error 12' (other numbers appear too). When this type of thing happened in the past all I had to do was to turn the unit off and on but this doesn't seem to help any more.

Any ideas?

August 3 - Xfm is now available on DAB in the South Wales & the West region.
August 3 - Choice is no longer available on DAB in the whole South Wales & the West region but is still available in Cardiff and Bristol & Bath.
August 3 - Chill is no longer available on DAB in Cardiff, Bristol & Bath, Plymouth and Cornwall.

How do you remove the speaker balance knob on a tivoli model dab radio situated on the rear panel.

Usually they pull right off. Unless you see a hole in the side with a hex key screw, it will pull off. Just pull gently and steadily and it should merely pop off.

Hello, I purchased a Tivoli Model One few months ago and I noticed that after tuning a radio station (strong signal, amber light on), the signal will fade out in ten minutes or so and I need to tune it...

hi,

it looks like its got a hookup for an external antenna on the back, hook a wire to it or better yet hook it up to a pair of rabbit ears, look at the back and make sure your hooking it up to the right connector am/fm

The "MENU/SELECT" button doesn`t seem to work, when I try to select another station nothing happens. I have unplugged the radio for 10 minutes and reconnected but still the same result.

I have exactly the same problem. Did you find a way to fix it?

Tuning DAB radio

Just bought the same unit but the instruction manual was double dutch. After messing around for a while I managed to do it like this. Whe the unit is set to DAB, Press the Sel+/TU+ or the Sel-/TU- button on the unit (not the remote) until the DAB station displays and then press the Select CH+ button again on the unit. Wait a few seconds while the word "tuning" is displayed and that station should now play. To save the station as a preset do this. When the station is playing use the remote and press the PRG/MEM button once. Then press the number for which preset you want that station to be. The station will be saved. EG to save Radio 1 as Preset station 1, play Radio 1, Press PRG/MEM, then press number 1. After that whenever you press number 1 on the remote Radio 1 will play. Do the same with any other station you wish to save. To save station 10 press the 0/10 button on the remote. To save station 11 press 10+ then 1, 12 is 10+ the 2 etc. Good luck Dopeyemma
