Question about M-Audio FireWire 410 External Sound System
It means its waiting for your computers operating system to recognize it. UNplug it. Update your operating system to the latest version ( free ), and then go to www.m-audio.com and download the latest drivers.
Do not ever install drivers for a device while its connected.
Plus it would help to know whatt kind of computer and what your operating systems is.
Keep me posted.

I have the same problem.
I have a problem with my firewire 410. I have left it on even when my G5 Power PC is off (Blue light stays on) because everytime I got out of Logic Pro 7 and turn the interface off, the blue light would start blinking.
Now my interface completely crapped the bed. Don't know if it's because I always left it on. My computer just fails initializing core audio when I start up Logic. It made every software on my Mac run real slow and sometimes not even open when I kept the troubled firewire410 plugged in. When I disconnected the firewire everything runs fine exept for I can't record now. Is my recording interface trashed? Can anyone help?
