Hi my husband is in Iraq and bought a HCT tv from another soldier and it is asking him for a key code. He tried to reset it by unplugging it and that did not work. Is there any way you guys could help? Thank you so much

press tv on your remote then sutup till it blinks 2 times the press 991 the tv key will blink twice.then press ch+ or ch- till the tv turns off.it will scan all remote codes once your tv turns off then press setup and the the remote will lock the code.

i used code 0134. push and hold set up button till lit then hold tv button till it flashes then put in code 0134. now push power button on remote. tv should turn off. i just had same problem. i also use a ge universal remote. hope that helps.
