Fdl is a code that indicates a door lock error. This error occurs because the door cannot be locked. The door will try to lock six times before displaying the error code. You have a faulty door lock switch. Hope this helped and best wishes.

I had the same problem. I took off the top of the washer moved the wires around had no luck with that. I reached all the way down to where I thought the lock should be and found the black lock and moved it up and down a few times and now it works!!! Just want to say I am not handy at all and I found this to be an extremely
easy fix.

Lg front loading washer flasing LE and stops midcycle

In new installations, this error can sometimes present because of a miscommunication between the control panel and the wash motor. In this instance, the washer simply needs to be reset.

Step 1: Unplug the washing machine.

Step 2: While the washer remains unplugged, press and hold the [Start/Pause] button on the front panel for 5 seconds.

Step 3: Plug the unit back in, and run a rinse and spin cycle to test if the LE code is cleared.

My tricity bendix washing machine flashing and beeping end light

Hi, we had something similar happen just before christmas. Our machine seemed to finish a cycle and started making beeping noise with end light flashing. Then when I switched it back on to do another load it just started beeping with end light flashing no matter what cycle was selected. Engineer has been out and advised that it is a fault with the motherboard so has ordered another one. Hope this is of some help. Machine was tricity bendix aw1400w.

Washer won't start; has alternating "dl" and "f" errors....can't reset

This is a Door Lock Error. The service manual lists the following causes: Door Lock Mechanism is broken or removed from door. Door Switch Unit Lock Failure-Unplug washer and check door switch, wiring connections, and the connection to the CCU (Central Control Unit (You have to remove the lid of the washer for this). To get at the switch, you have to remove the lower front panel. These are torx, I believe 3 screws. By turning yourself on your head, you can visually inspect the lock, and manually lock/unlock to check for bind (pulling/pushing a black plastic handle about two inches long with a teardrop shaped handle on the end.
