2004/5 junky and zero support mobo post.
NO OS TOLD At all of VAST not one tiny clue and is needed use a USB port unless USB is dead in BIOS but not told that either..
do not flash your bios or you will brick he PC,
you heard wrong, as is normal 1/2 what you read on the internet are pure lies or full evil.
there is no fuse.
all we know is this
MSI 7091 Ver 2 (old) 2004
Msi ended all support now, zero results there.
nothing else, no PC told at all what is in the case a secret.
no PSU told no if 4pin and 24pin power are connected to mobo.
keyboard USB dead? that it in BIOS not told that.
this MOBO has no VGA rear port at all, it is iGPU free, has none.
so BIOS is dead due to no video card installed and if has one installed none told, and some are dead lacking 12vdc aux power not connected to the GPU card directly, oops failure #1
915P chip set relic MOBO pentium 4 old dog CPU
the ICH6R chipset runs the rear USB ports even in bios full time.
the keyboard needs to be connected to USB2, port 1.
P4 has no igpu on the die/chip, so none there, and no vga port there.
1: coin cell is dead this old. AND ALL MOBO JUMPERS SET RIGHT..
2: all via lan chip dead, for newer OS ,VIA IS zero support.
3:BIOS only works with GPU card, usb rear + keboard
4: cpu correct type p4, and no bent pins bought off fleabay.
5: 1 stick of DDR1 RAM. 1GB MAX PER STICK,
6: MOBO JPW1. MUST HAVE PSU POWER HERE.+ATX1
7: POWER ON NOW, AND BIOS WILL WORK
8: relic MSI mobe only PS2 keyboards work for BIOS hotkeys.
BIOS HOT key (setup)
some use ,<DEL> key on keypad (numlock off !!!!)
or needs this keyboard 2004.
. or PS2 + F2 key. (or F2 ,f1, f2) dance, wild but is prompted.
the only manual on the web for his old dog does not cover bios at all, lost in the sands of time. it.
P4 is year 2000 to 2008 , 915p is 2004 so is this. thing
a relic and hard too find MSI facts this junk.
means junk in my book.
ms-72xx here, the PC prompt you clearly and then tells F11 is boot menu, last at end of POST
v1 not 2, v2 docs rare more.
- new coin cell,
- good VGA card put in top x16 slot.
- ps2 keyboard
- Del key to bios(numlook off) reset bios now.
